Tiffany Washington talks her shit from the backwoods of Alabama. Her work appears on Facebook because she’s already been rejected by The Root.
Today, in Black History, we learn how to make our feminism as white as the skin on Donald Trump’s bikini line, courtesy of Meryl Streep.
First, you reference all of us “being from Africa” when pressed on questions about African/Arab movies.
“There is a core of humanity that travels right through every culture, and after all we’re all from Africa originally. Berliners, we’re all Africans really.”
Now, she came out and defended (step 2 on making your white feminism as white as the cotton fields white people still like to take pictures in) her statement, saying that she was offering up a response to her not knowing about African/Arab films.
….but what the fuck does everyone being from Africa have to do with that? Y’all love being the “only one race, the human race” until it’s time to embrace the humanity of black folks, don’t you?
Step 3, you wear shit like this. Reminding us all that slaves should have just rebelled and I’m sure everything would have ended up different.
Does your feminism feel sufficiently white, yet?
