This is one of the best analyses of what sometimes could be considered an unbalanced view of veganism as it’s currently practice today.

The only thing that I would contribute that I feel deserves more mention is that veganism as first conceived included a racial justice analysis that was abandoned before the ink on the first manifesto was dried.

Not surprising, true-but that also means that subsequent conceptualization of what ethical food consumption means has gotten distorted over time.
