Thanks for this personal take on these recent experiences, Vicki, through the lens of your faith and learnings here. I especially appreciate the questions you pose, ‘what am I pretending not to know about my role in this? And What can I do right now to make the situation better? I’m reminding myself through your reflections of the importance that I believe Black, Brown, Indigenous people of color when they share their experiences, believe and respond reflexively, noticing and rooting out what gets in the way of doing that responsively.
