For nearly two years at Lace on Race headquarters a silent and invisible group, my Beloved Gaggle, has offered gracious, steady, and generous advice and sustenance.
They are personal friends, professional activists, and women of discernment.
When I had but the glimmer of a vision for Lace on Race, when I took the audacious plunge and began my Facebook group – this experimental lab – and now, as we have finally moved from Facebook to the Lace on Race website, the Gaggle was on hand.
The Beloved Gaggle is now retired.
Recently I sent a private message to the members of the Gaggle, thanking them for their insights and their experience as the community has developed.
Here on the website I want to publicly express my thanks for their quiet, unseen encouragement.
We could not have achieved this milestone.
Going forward, we hope to continue to do you proud.
With deep thanks and respect,
Your Lace
