Welp. This is at least the second time in the four weeks we have been a community that i have been censured by FcBk because they thought either my content or my audience target was racist.

I tried to boost the SNAP box post. It wasn’t approved for the reason above. This is my response:

‘I tried this on my phone, but it did not work. I do not know exactly what the issue is. This is an explicitly anti-racism site. I was speaking specifically about the new food benefit proposal, and its affects across regions and cohorts. it was not racist. secondly, you changed my audience. i usually go for followers and friends of followers, but you defaulted it to custom. lastly, the picture of a blue box was specifically because an Administration official compared the boxes to blue box. i wanted to highlight that.

i really wish you all would go just a bit deeper. by now a month in, you should know what this page is about–fighting racism and injustice on a personal and a structural/institutional level. this is the second time you have flagged me for potential racist content. this is inhibiting and chilling, especially considering i have had explicit body parts, offensive language, and the like scroll across my feed for the last 9 years. I am doing my best to provide quality content and a positive service. i feel more than a little targeted. again, i urge you to really look at the article i am attempting to promote. i do think it serves the greater good. thank you for your time.’
