How many of you have heeded the suggestion to read, or to reread, this article from earlier this year? Please do.

Lace on Race sez:
Resharing this. This is the adaptation of the article that I first wrote for another group I was in, and then adapted for our own Lace on Race.
On the issue of money, and whyte people holding on to this, their biggest and most harmful clench, I lovingly hold my ground.
Everyone can find something. Yes, Lace on Race needs people to step up and stop rationalizing, at least to my face, FFS; but if not to the community you say you value, then to someone. You, and everyone, can find a dime. All of you really need to sit with the violence you visit when you say ‘can’t’ instead of the more truthful ‘won’t’.
And then you need to come off the won’t.
This is all about praxis, y’all. And congruence. And refusing to make your justice work just another hobby, that you do how you want and when you want and if you want. If you want the truth, this has been the biggest disappointment of the last year; just how many of you are wedded to the white supremacy of economic hoarding and insistent powerlessness, even as you claim empowered intersectional feminism.
We will be restarting the unclench ask for a person who needs it on a weekly basis.
And we will be going forward with unapologetic requests for the health of this site, and an absolute insistence of your respect of our considerable labor.
We are Breaking the toxic Contract that we have made with so many of you who think of this as secondary adjunctive entertainment, even as you insist you are all in, ride or dies, totally committed to the work and in supporting the people who do it.
Hear this: racism is an economic issue. Racism is an economic issue. Racism Is An Economic Issue. RACISM IS AN ECONOMIC ISSUE.
That fully 4000 of you have failed to internalize this is my biggest failure this year.
Read the post. Commit, or recommit, to doing better going forward. And get ready to fund a place you say you value, and the workers who bring it to you. No more begging; no more trying to tug heartstrings, no more bleeding on the page or soft core humiliation to entice you to do what you say you value. Bluntly stated, if the page is valued, we shouldn’t have to ask, and we certainly shouldn’t be made to feel like grifters when we do.
