From a Medium article (it’s here too) a few months ago:

‘White people, stop shirking responsibility and learn some affect control so you can do historical and internal work with unflinching rigor, so you can even begin to effect outward praxis with staying power and integrity.’

And, going forward, we will be working on just this very thing.

This week has been a bruiser. Everyone in this space needs to collectively grow up, which is exactly what i was talking about in that paragraph.

We will start with Terry Real and do a deep dive into relational ethics, then when I think we are ready, we will look at attachment and trauma, and only then after that work has been done and done well, will we look at friendships and alliances in cross racial and cross cultural friendships.

But only when this space is ready.
