To my IRL friends, both online and offline, who knew me before Lace on Race I really need you to stand with me and help me to foster the space that I envision by adhering to the no reacts request and by engaging more.

And it would be affirming if you supported the space, even with a miniscule token amount.

On that other, earlier post, I was speaking directly to you all, and it is very telling that with one exception none of you responded.

Again it is very discouraging that those who would say that they’re friends and or that they stand with me keep ignoring and even thwarting my efforts here.

This is true. A significant portion of those who still insist on reacts are *my friends*.

Your insistence on reacts gives others permission, and is so undermining.

It makes me feel so unappreciated and alone and that my friendships both on and offline are more fragile than durable, and I have felt that way since I started this platform.

Please, to the people who would call me friends, be friends.

Please don’t think that the guidelines and overall ethos of this space don’t apply to you.

I don’t have any expectations or entitlement to your being here. I am so glad that a (very) few of you are.

But if you choose to walk with me in this community please go the whole way.

If you wanna p.m. me about it or if you want to talk about it here that’s great but lace is really tired and has not felt very supported by people who say they care about or even love her.
