I have not spoken about the Dem race much. But while I refrain from talking about individuals in the race, I am thinking, and hard, about the dynamics of the race itself.

Black people bore the brunt of post election hand wringing in 2016, and are on track to be the same whipping posts in this election. We are needed, but still vilified.

This dynamic must stop. White people need to see both the strategies and appreciate the history of the recent Democratic party, and our place inside of it.

And until Dems actually live up to their platform, this will continue to occur.
