Voter suppression, with the added Easter egg of killing people of color in droves.

Again, we are already disproportionately represented in this crisis, and now forcing people to exercise a franchise that is only been reliably theirs for less than 60 years is an absolute abomination.

I am certain that there will be people who stood in line in order to do what their ancestors couldn’t 150 years ago, who will become unwilling martyrs for the cause of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

I know that they are trying to dismantle this Legacy, and this is feeling more and more like metaphorical and actual genocide.
