I am quite angry.

Over 200(!) reacts and the day is not yet over.

Listen.

If you cannot listen to the words and follow the directions of a black woman on this seemingly small thing, how do you think that you’re going to stand up for brown or black people in either your offline or online lives?

The answer oh, you won’t.

You are treating the space like you treat every other space scroll and roll and react and you think you did something but you really didn’t.

This is not the place for you if this is all you’re going to do.

It is insulting to me and to the people who populate this space.

Read the guidelines.

And if that is something you refuse to honor, leave this space.

I am so angry. And disappointed.

This is why I hate that list.

But it’s not only people who are new, even though we are on boarding 200 (as of this moment 479 *just today*) a day and not one of you seem to have read the guidelines.

It’s also people who have been here for months- even years- who still refuse to honor my directions.

I am completely okay with losing 9/10 of you.

Because you have already shown me that you are not going to respect me, which means you are not going to do the work.

I am livid.

Stop it.
