As part of our discussion on the police, we are running this. There are curse words, but there is not a curse word in the world that is more offensive than the fact that we are living in a world without George Floyd, without Brionna Taylor, but with brutality and unchecked violence toward citizens speaking truth to power.

I want everyone to pull out *at least* one point and write a written reflection. New norms apply. Again, with all of you here now, it is perfectly reasonable to expect no fewer than 300 comments, and two responses to each comment from each of you.

After this, no one can say they didn’t know.

Queries after your reflection:

Who is the police chief in your city or town or Sheriff in your county? Why don’t you know their name?

How does this behavior make communities–not just Black and brown communities, but any community–safer?

What is your complicity? Where is your pivot? Where is your action? Where are your choice points?
