Jim Golden Day 1, Part 2

I just saw what he sent me Saturday night, pre meltdown.

This was after Kate decided to school me, but before I personally contacted him Sunday morning so he did know exactly who I was. And he wanted me to lend him social capital.

And then Sunday happened.

And the same person he wanted to endorse him is now a charlatan and a cult leader.

For those of you who are keeping score, that would be me.

So he had no problem latching on to me and to this community until he was challenged.

Again, this is not the first time I’ve seen this.

These days now that we’ve gotten a little bit of traction I get that all the time.

I am so glad that I did not agree to collaborate with him.

But I came awfully close.

And I am thinking about that every moment of every day.

My discernment has to be impeccable, and it was not with this man.

That is my lesson for the day (so far, anyway) , and let it be yours too.
