Welp.

Something heartwarming. We could all use it.

The Christian Left *did* glean something from us.

Something that they consider valuable and worth emulating.

You would think it would be our values, or our method, or our ethos.

Don’t be silly!

Our North Star?

Heavens no.

What did they find worth looting?

They ripped off our funding model!

Before I even had a chance to write our own Early September Ask.

We should be flattered.

But seriously, not really.

There is something deeply saddening about the fact that they have swarmed all over this page and *this* was their only take away.

Not minding their slosh.

Not Kind Candor.

Not the Five Tenets.

(They did internalize the Five Losing Strategies, but they had that down long before they showed up here.)

So yes. Sadness.

What a wasted opportunity.

But not for us.

This month long cautionary tale has been beneficial. We know who we are. We have walked through a real crucible together, praxis and resilient, relentless, reliable resolve intact.

I am so proud of us.
