Every word she is saying is true.

This goes hand-in-hand with another meme that I posted earlier that talks about the enforced and willful continuing of incompetence in the area of racial Justice when it comes to white people, *including in this space*.

White people know that at the end of the day they don’t have to do very much, and particularly when you factor in the imbalance, and the ambivalence about the change that you all at least say that you want.

At the very least, you can give props to the people who are actually carrying this country forward.

And right now, it isn’t white people.

Including you.

Detail how you plan to change this going forward.

I plan on talking to you all about how my leadership is going to change over the next weeks and months going into the Lace on Race Cafe.

One of my greatest sadnesses is, is that I have ten thousand of you, at least on paper, and the proficiency level has not risen all that much in the almost three years we have all been walking together and doing this collective exercise.

That is so sobering.

But right now in the here and now we need to focus on the people who are actually making it possible for you to stay at pre primer level.

And I also need to know what you plan on doing to advance past Sesame Street.

And: right now we also need to talk about how you were going to thank the women who were and are *breaking their backs* giving you the world you say you want, because in the aggregate, it is not you.
