I am seriously considering undergoing the process of earning a Master of Divinity degree.

But not for the education in and of itself. Certainly not only for the bragging rights of having the letters behind my name. Only in service to Northstar values and ethos. For me, this is a very big deal. As we have seen in this space, for some, education and knowledge can be weaponized. Credentials can be used as cudgels. Qualifications can be used to delegitimize others. The social capital accumulated by Advanced education can either Heal the World or make it even more toxic. As I consider going down this path, I keep all of this in mind. Who would I be serving?
