Lace talks about what Black women deserve, but rarely experience. What does it look like to authentically cherish and honor Black Women in the moment, when we need it?

Edited to add this. Daniel, the pseudonym of a person who has been private messaging me, and who has said some derogatory things in public, gave me a slight moratorium on his vitriol when my mother was in the nursing home. Apparently, the moratorium is lifted.

I’m going to break today’s conversation out into a separate post, where Daniel, or whatever their name actually is, will have a chance to lob whatever pipe-bombs they choose in public.

For now though, I’ll just show you the screenshots without further commentary.

I may or may not do more with this until after my mother’s memorial service, but you all should know what I have dealt with for the last 15 months.

Not only from Daniel, but certainly from him. If you agree with him, as I have said in more than one video, *this space is not for you*.

I’m sure he will have something to say for every single video on cherishing, because he does not feel I am worthy of it, as he has said more than once.

But I do.

I feel I am.

I feel every Black woman is.

Beware of people who will carve out one single black woman even as they claim to be allies to the rest.

Denigrating one Black woman is degrading every single one of us.

Make no mistake.
