Thank you so much for your patience with us as we navigate our present grief and try to discern a future path for this community and the nonprofit organization that is Lace’s legacy and our trust.

A reminder that a memorial service is being held at Lace’s church, Vista La Mesa Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), on Saturday, March 25, at 1pm. A Zoom link will be provided if you wish to attend remotely. We have set up a Facebook event at https://fb.me/e/KCiJtfRT, which may help you stay up to date, and will give us another place to post the Zoom link once we have it.

We will also host a more informal celebration of Lace’s life and work. Please email us at laceonrace@gmail.com to let us know if you plan to attend in person or remotely, and we will provide you the necessary information to do so.

For those who have asked, we have learned that the family plans for Lace to be cremated, and her ashes spread off the coast of San Diego.
