I actually went backwards this weekend!

This is Part 2; Part 1 about more issues surrounding nonprofit funding will be coming out today as well.

I really want you all to think about this, and yes we will be talking about it a lot more going forward here at Lace on Race.

*Not least because people don’t want to talk about it.*

This is a tough message; tough going. I totally know that.

But it’s a message that needs to be confronted.

Here at LoR, we do our best to talk about things that no one else talks about.

I would like to thank @Rebecca Littlejohn for her Facebook post that inspired this different direction I chose to take on the issue of giving Tuesday, as well as the Dynamics of community giving and engagement overall.

As well Vu of Nonprofit AF is a man after my own heart when it comes to the Dynamics of nonprofit, particularly about nonprofits and funding. We are going to be taking and dissecting an article a week. Some will be about funding, some will be about other issues regarding the dynamic. He usually focuses on nonprofit leadership oh, but I want you *all* to understand on a deep level how the sausage is made. Sometimes opacity is part of the problem and we are going to confront that Dynamic, and much more, here.

When you have finished reading this, mark done in the comments; if you have queries or comments, or if you know of an organization that you would like us to promote and amplify. Also for the comment. As well, if you disagree with anything ( or everything!) I said I want to know and I want to know why! This is a crucial discussion.

And it will have a lot to do with what we talk about as we collectively embark upon the dime challenge and the envelope challenge. And also about contractual relational ethics, which we are going to start confronting as we go to season 1 episode 1 of the good place, which will also come out this week.

It’s been a year of dormancy for a lot of you.

Which is why I am starting this year off strong.
