There’s no mystery here. I love this meme.

It’s encouraging but it’s also, if you allow it to be, galvanizing.

If you are walking, even sometimes stumbling, but with resilience and Relentless Reliability, this is an encouragement.

I hope that this meme is galvanizing if your walk has been intermittent, conditional, or half measure.

The fact is, you–we– are indeed being observed.

People are indeed following your example and your influence, whether for good or ill.

So the query for today is: are you living out a racial justice walk that is worthy of emulation and imitation?

If you are, share with us the pieces of your journey that can be an inspiration to the rest of the community.

If you have places where you are intermittent, be brave and share your struggle and allow the community to hold you.

If you have faltered, if you are a spectator, if you talk a good game but do not have action, either internal or external, to backup your words oh, again, bravery.

This is the time to speak up.

As we enter into 2022, my hope, actually my prayer, is that those of us who wonder if they are less best cases than cautionary tales that moves are made *by you* (because, who else, really?) to become more durable in their practice.

For those of us who are intermittent, or selective in the steps that they take, my hope and invitation is that this becomes an invitation to consistency and to a full throated ‘yes’.

And for those of us who are indeed walking a path with Integrity, that you share your strength and hope. That your example infuses the community in 2022.

I will be here the entire time walking right along with you.

Each of you observe my steps; be they graceful or halting, or even artless. Count it all joy.
