One of the main reasons I founded the Center for Racial Equity (and absolutely in alignment with North Star ethos– lessening and mitigating the harm endured by Black and brown people perpetuated by white people and white supremacy) was to honor and empower others like me, and like the OP.

That’s why we have an absolute commitment to both funding Community Partners and the LoR Mental and Emotional health fund.

And why I humbly and boldly invite you to financial engagement.

I know what it’s like to strike out on my own.

The support Lace on Race has been blessed with has made all the difference.

And why I’ve made it my absolute business to be a blessing to others. There is nothing more isolating and discouraging than being ignored and feeling unseen by family and friends. There is nothing more affirming than being held well and and being assisted in living out one’s call.

Particularly for black women, who, in the main, do not receive the same supports as white women enjoy as they venture out to change the world for the betterment of all.

As others have chosen to see me; chosen to partner with me in my life’s work; chosen to affirm my own escape from a 25 year toxic working environment with their support of my vision, method, and ethos, so I will never fail to see others.
