I placed this on a sub thread on a post from earlier this week. I think it deserves discussion on its own, even without the context of the OP.

A question that is always valuable to ask in conversations, which is a window to how we move in the world, is the following: are we best cases, case studies, or cautionary tales? It’s worth asking here. What is the difference between a best case and a case study? What can turn a cautionary tale into a best case? Does it matter how what we say lands on the people we say we stand for and with? Finally, how does full respect living and the winning and losing strategies tie into our North Star?
