Who don’t fight for you and with you.

And who refuse to dance for joy and solidarity with you.

In the last three and a half years oh, I have experienced both cohorts. It’s been a curve.

But let me just say this: those that will dance with you and those that will fight for you and with you and who will allow *you* to do the same for them, hold them close.

Lightly, but closely.

Life happens. People you thought were reliable and resilient and ride or die can disappoint you.

Hard.

Trust me, I know this.

But then there are some sleeper cells who you may have once thought might have been peripheral oh, well, those are the ones that can surprise you in amazing ways with their faithfulness, fidelity, loyalty, and character.

Everyone who is on my leadership team fits this bill *exactly*.

The three who left in burning flames were the ones I placed a lot of investment in, emotional and actual. And they are the ones who scarred me the most.

Discernment is key.

My promise to you: to always have my Hesed boxing gloves and my dancing shoes on at all times. Solidarity.
