This is what using your personal story, your intellectual capital, and, crucially, your social capital can do in service to racial Equity work. It is true that most white people both in the past and in the present day do far less than they could in service to the principles and convictions they say that they have. It is also true that people in psychological and social work professions have often buttressed and colluded with the status quo rather than confront and challenge and work to dismantle it. White people can leverage everything they have both tangible and intangible. The question is will they? Will you?
