This is why I have been harping for almost three years now on lace on race, and for years before that actually, that white people need to develop a sense of proficiency and competency.
Which white people as a group have not been willing to do.
Including in this space.
Almost three years in, and people are still hand-wringing and wailing about how hard it is to do this work, and have spent more time talking about how difficult it is then actually learning how to do it well.
And if you are in this space either as a lurker or as an active participant, you *do* have tools to learn how to do this well.
You just refuse to authentically and reliably use them.
So the queries that I have on the table today oh, why are these things still being said?
Why have you not progressed Beyond pre primer level?
What will it take for you to choose to become as proficient at racial justice as you are with your hobbies? As proficient as you are with online gaming? As proficient as you are with Pinterest?
Why has this willful level of incompetence been allowed to stand, both on the Aggregate and in your individual lives?
Discuss.
Absolutely no react.
