This is exhibit A as to why bad behavior sloshes on absolutely everyone.

This article speaks to undecided voters who seem to assign equal blame to the two candidates that participated in this week’s debate.

There is something like a generalized disgust at the election process and I don’t blame anyone for that.

I’m rather disgusted too.

But I think it’s important to tease out where the bulk of that disgust should go, and to confront and discuss the fact that most undecided voters, who are also mostly white, can’t seem to lay the responsibility at the foot of the candidate to whom it belongs.

That’s an interesting phenomenon to me.

As most of you know when we live blogged the debate, I was not particularly impressed with the bulk of Biden’s performance, (not due so much to delivery as to timidity) but I did not blame him for the melee.

Even seasoned professional commentators did their darndest to assign equal blame.

That is a disservice.
