I’m going to do the ask later on today, but first, as a public service oh, I’m going to offer you a chance to participate in The Christian Left Legal Defense Fund!

Never mind that we don’t plan on suing them; your charlatan Maga hat-wearing Russian bot cult leader is an anabaptist and we don’t litigate.

So right out of the gate, before you read the first paragraph, they’re already lying!

If any legal action is taken, it will be them suing us! Or siccing the dogs of the State against us.

Yes I use that imagery on purpose.

We are in the month of the March on Washington, right in the middle of the Civil Rights era, wherein white people had no compunction against siccing rabid dogs upon us.

Which is, metaphorically, what they’ve been threatening to do so many damn times what with the IRS and the FBI and the police and Facebook and probably that lady who yelled at me in 1976 when I ran across her lawn.

But don’t let any of the above stop you from contributing.

They also linked to a couple of posts we did, which boggles the mind, because anyone who clicks through the post also reads our commentary.

So the reason we are doing this public service is because they’re doing this so damn badly, and it would be unkind of us not to offer our assistance.

We are committed to being honest and transparent with every one of you. This past week we have been focused on gathering and presenting as much information as possible on TCL, conversations and developing pieces. With that transparency in mind, we would like to correct a discrepancy in information.

While researching how TCL goes about their business, we found information about a PAC. After further digging, we now know that TCL is not themselves part of that PAC, Vote Common Good. Rather, the CEO and co-founder of TCL, and a main respondent on our board, has ties to that PAC. He works as a marketing and communications consultant and participates on panels that they host. We apologize for our misunderstandings in regard to this information.
