April Budget Numbers: $2,000/$2,000
The Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium was formed to address the fact that black Americans are being diagnosed at a disproportionately higher rate than other groups and are dying from coronavirus at a higher rate than other groups. To date, THEY HAVE RAISED OVER $116,000 OF THEIR $100,000 goal. It’s exciting to think we played a part in that.
All funds will go to cover: 1. Van Transportation; 2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); 3. Educational Materials; and 4. Testing Supplies.
