I tried sharing this without the image but FB won’t let me spare folks the potential trauma. Just another way our society discounts black lives.

Police all across the country routinely apprehend white domestic terrorists, white armed domestic abusers, and drunkass white guys menacing people with guns. You have to ask why those same police departments kill black men who carry or seem to be carrying in states where carrying is legal, or are definitely not carrying at all but aren’t polite enough, or are definitely not carrying and are trying to politely comply with confusing instructions, or or or. The list of things for which black people might face extrajudicial killing is now a mile long, but it can all be summarized by one word: live.
