To think about and chew upon, as I struggle with ways to encourage and exhort all you beautiful fellow walkers to tangibly support the community as we move to the website.

Eta- the math is off. Stipulated. The point: still prescient. Don’t fixate.

Neither Bezos nor Gates– not even Oprah– will be gifting us with 7 figure checks as we do our world changing work.

It falls to you, to us. The financial risk we are taking with the site is real. And we are actually quite acutely aware of what we are asking of regular people of stout hearts but modest means to sacrifice with us.

But ask we will. Because we believe in this work. And we believe in this community.

And we believe in you.

No bigwigs. Just regular people working and walking.

Join with us so we can flip the switch, keep the lights on, take big risks, and serve like never before.
