One of our own, Saira Rao, is changing the landscape of Colorado politics.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of an email exchange.

Her candidacy does not only affect Colorado though.

Good women running good clean campaigns is what is going to change electoral politics in the future.

Sara is committed the to issues of racial and social justice, that she is bringing up the fraught issue of campaign Finance reform, and her candidacy will have ripples far beyond the Rocky Mountains, but rather will have implications for every single one of our states here in America.

And this new way of doing politics will be a case study on how to run a campaign with heart, discernment, and a Grassroots Spirit, even as she plays in the big leagues, and is something we should all be inspired by and support.

Lace on Race not a political organization, so as such we are not bound by those rules. So we can say without reservation that our Saira is someone we should get behind.
